Skylanders Swap Force is shaping up to be one of the best games of the year. Andy from Family Gamer TV got to play the game at Gamescom in Germany (we’re so jealous!) and his video interview shows off the Winters Keep level of the game.

In the interview with the game’s creators Guha Bala and Lou Studdert, you can see the game being played using a few different Skylanders, from both the new core and Swap Force figures. There’s Boom Jet, a rocket-powered Skylander who can call in air-strikes to defeat enemies.

Then there’s Rattle Jet, who’s part Boom Jet, part Rattle Shake, who can speed around on his rocket and fire snakes into villains. Zoo Lou is a core character (so no swapping him!) who is a Life Skylander, and he can ride around on a bucking boar and summon spirit animals who can help you. Finally, you can see newly revealed character Grilla Drilla in action.

Rattle Shake is an undead type Skylander. His Deputy snake can be used as a turret to protect him.
