Pokémon X & Y players get your teams at the ready as there is another chance to put yourself to the test in April, with The Pokémon Company’s International 2014 April Friendly competition!
The competition will involve gamers from all around the world and will take place from Friday April 25th to April 28th. There’s two special categories for players born in 1999 or later which you can take part in which are the Junior and Senior Divisions. The battles will use Single Battle Format and you can only use Pokémon found in the Kalos Pokédexes of Pokémon X or Pokémon Y, which means you must have Pokémon X or Y to enter. You can register 3-6 of your own Pokémo,n however don’t worry about leveling your Pokémon up for the battles, as when they enter into battle in the competition they automatically become level 50.
To enter, you must register between April 17th and April 24th by logging into the Pokémon Global Link (PGL) and then clicking through to Online Competitions where you can submit your details. You gotta be quick though, because entry is on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are only 50,000 places worldwide. Once the participant limit is reached, registration will be closed.
