With the new film now looming large in the horizon, pre-orders for The Force Awakens toys and play-sets have opened at Bestbuy today.
Interestingly this also unveils new details on the characters that will be in the game. We had already seen Rey and Finn, but now we have details of Kylo Ren and Poe Dameron. As you can see the figures all share the same style of base, indicating their compatibility with The Force Awakens play-set without the need to collect cross over coins.
It’s also interesting to see the final packaging for these products that hadn’t been publicly available before now. The Force Awakens play-set is listed for $34.99 and the figures are $13.99 each. All the products will be released on 18th December in line with the film release.
Also recently announced for Disney Infinity 3.0 was the Marvel Battleground play-set although this won’t be coming until 2016. This offers four player cooperative play in the campaign — unlike the Star Wars adventures that are only 2 player.
