There are lots of playable characters in Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze: Donkey Kong himself, little Diddy Kong, and Dixie Kong with her whippy pony tale. The fourth playable character has now been revealed though: it’s grand old Cranky Kong!

Cranky Kong is the old granddad of the Kong family, but don’t let his beard and walking stick fool you! He’s a master of martial arts, and one of the strongest Kongs around. He know Kong Pow, which when you use it in games destroys all the enemies on screen, making him a really useful character to play. He can also bounce on his walking stick like a pogo stick, allowing him to bounce across spike pits without taking damage.

The Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze release date is February 21st in North America, and soon after for the rest of the world.
