If you plan on playing as Diddy Kong in the new Super Smash Bros game, you’ll be pleased to hear his rocketbarrel jet pack will be in the game. Even better though, it’s been improved since the last game for big leaps across the screen.
Super Smash Bros. creator Masahiro Sakurai revealed that the new rocketbarrel boost will launch Diddy Kong horizontally across the screen, not just up into the air. But don’t be fooled into thinking you’re untouchable just because you can fly: your opponents can hit the rocketbarrel when you’re boosting and make it come off. You won’t be flying then!
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS will be released later this year.
