After much fan pestering Disney Infinity will see the legendary bounty fighter Boba Fett added to the Rise Against the Empire Playset.

To obtain the character you need to pre-order the PlayStation 3 or PlayStation 4 starter pack. Similar to the Hulk tie in from last year this means that the figure won’t be available on its own when the game launches.

It’s a canny move on Sony’s part with what is arguably the best character in the play-set only available day one for gamers on the PlayStation system. Time will tell whether the incentive to pre-order will pay off in terms of sales.
