The level creator in LittleBigPlanet 2 is really powerful, and right now is a great training ground before you jump into LittleBigPlanet 3. But whilst we’ve seen some really cool creations from the LittleBigPlanet 2 level creator, we’ve never seen anything like this before. Someone has recreated the whole of Final Fantasy VII in LittleBigPlanet. That’s a huge game – it’s on three discs and has over 40 hours of story – but YouTuber Jamie Colliver has turned every last detail into a hand-stitched version. Take a look!

There’s currently 113 videos in the playlist showing the whole game from the very start. If you’ve played Final Fantasy VII you’ll instantly recognise what’s going on, from the characters to the areas that they’re exploring. They say all the right things, and all the monsters and bosses have been created just right. There’s even an amazing version of the Final Fantasy battle system, with summons, magic, and limit breaks. It’s amazing to see how close Jamie Colliver has come to the real thing.
