It seems like the worlds of toys and games are getting closer every day, and the latest toys to join the trend is Furby. The new Furby Boom Furbling toys all come with QR codes on the bottom which can be scanned into the Furby Boom app on your phone and tablet, teleporting your toy into the digital world, just like in Angry Birds Telepods or Skylanders. Andy from Family Gamer TV took a look at them at New York Toy Fair.

Furby Boom come in lots of amazing colours and groovy costumes, and the Furblings come in two sizes: the mini Furblings which are plastic and pocket-sized, and the normal Furbling which is half the size of a normal Furby, but just as awesome. The normal Furblings can also talk to big Furbies, so you can create a whole family with big and small Furbys.
