If you leave Christmas presents out on show, people could see them through the windows and try and steal them. The LEGO family left all their presents under the Christmas tree, right in front of a window. A burglar saw the presents and broke in a night to steal them. Thankfully the police caught him and sent him to prison, but this terrible incident really taught the LEGO family to keep safe at Christmas.
