With the sets coming to stores in June, we had a close look at what LEGO has in store for the Friends collection. In a word, Pop Stars!
The first collection of Friends kits include the following:
- – 41103 Pop Star Recording Studio.
- – 41104 Pop Star Dressing Room.
- – 41105 The Pop Star Stage Show
- – 41106 The Pop Star Tour Bus.
It’s nice to see a broader range of activities coming to the Friends products, alongside the home making and dress-up play. Following these will be a new line of Elves sets that use the Friends style minifigures but place them in a fantasy setting. With LEGO Dimensions already taking other LEGO brands through the portal, Elves have their own keys and portal to activate.
ToyTesters.TV had a chance to check out the sets before they hit retail stores. As you can see in the video, the child toy testers had a lot of positive things to say:
It’s not a huge leap to imagine the Elves or Friends Pop Stars coming to something like LEGO Dimensions. Perhaps we’ll get more news at E3.
