They’re finally here: the next-gen versions of Minecraft for PS4 and Xbox One are releasing this week.
Both versions were supposed to be out in August, but were delayed after 4J Studios had problems getting the PS4 version to be approved by Sony. But now all the problems are solved, and the game can be released. And they’re coming real soon. Tomorrow, in fact, if you have a PS4.
Minecraft PS4 Edition will be available on the European PS Store tomorrow, Thursday 4th September. The Xbox One version will follow on Friday 5th September, available from the Xbox Store.
If you’re in America, you may have to wait until next week for the PS4 edition, as the US PS Store won’t be updated for a few more days.
The boxed-version of PS4 Minecraft has still not been dated, nor has the PS Vita version. Looks like we’ll be waiting a little longer for those. To find out when they’ll be released, keep your eyes on the Minecraft channel.
