Great news everybody! Minecraft Realms, the private server service from Mojang, is now available everywhere in the world on Mac and PC.

Minecraft Realms allows you to create a private server for up to 20 people to play on. This means only you and your friends will be able to enter your Minecraft Realms server, so other players cannot butt in and start destroying your stuff and ruining the fun.

Minecraft Realms also allows you to turn back time in the server, so if you build something wrong and want to reset your world to before you built it, you can do that with just a few button presses.

The set up is really easy. All you need to do is go to your Mojang account page and buy a Minecraft Realm. The service is a subscription, so you will have to pay $13 every month to keep your Realm server open.

The service is only available on PC and Mac, but Mojang promise they are planning to bring Minecraft Realms to consoles in the future.
