The makers of the Sphero robotic ball have showcased their newest robot at the Toy Fair 2014, and boy does it look awesome! In a tube rather than ball form, this new robot is all about speed. Family Gamer TV got to check it out, and you can see it in action in this video.

You can go crazy fast, driving it at speeds of up to 5 meters a second, tumbling, whirling, jumping off tables and even use it in swimming pools! And because of its design, it never gets stuck. For those of you who don’t know what Sphero is, it’s a robot that you can control from your phone or tablet with just the use of an app. There are 35 different apps that run Sphero, each with different features and games, meaning hours of fun!

What’s so cool about this new version is that if both you and a friend have Sphero, you can battle each other, and complete cool games together. You can also change the features, giving it your own personalised look, putting your choice of cool hub-caps and wheels on it.
