Some Minecraft mods are great, but others are mind-blowing. This Pokémon mod for Minecraft is definitely mind-blowing. You’ll be able to catch Pokémon, duel with them, and craft new Pokéballs with the materials you gather.

Install this mod and Pokemon will be bouncing around your world in no time!

There are 170 different Pokémon in Minecraft, including all the first 151, plus many from Generations 2, 3, 4 and 5. With the mod turned on, you’ll be able to see them bouncing around in the world like normal Minecraft animals. But if you get close, you’ll be able to fight them with your very own Pokémon! Press R on the keyboard and your Pokémon will jump out, and then you’ll be able to fight using a turn-based system, just like in the Gameboy games!

The guys from CNT Gaming have been playing with Pixelmod, and have created a whole Pokémon village, complete with Pokémart, Pokécentre, and a lab. Check them out exploring the village and capturing different Pokémon in this video.
