Remember to set your alarms nice and early on October 19th, because you won’t be able to have a lie-in that day. The new Pokémon movie is being shown on the CITV channel that Saturday morning at 9.25am.

Pokemon The Movie: Genesect and the Legend Awakened is the 16th Pokémon movie, and the first to feature monsters from the X and Y 3DS games, which are released a few days before on October 12th. You can get a taste of the action by watching the amazing trailer above, which stars Mega Mewtwo!

After the film has finished, you can get an extra-early sneak peak at the new series Pokémon XY at 11.35am, when CITV will be showing the first two episodes back-to-back! In this new series Ash and Pikachu will be travelling around Kalos, the new region from the X and Y games.
