There’s a whole new Sonic universe on it’s way! Sega has announced Sonic Boom, a new series of Sonic games, TV shows, and toys that will be released this year. You can check out the first trailer for the Wii U game right here.

Sonic Boom will be released on Wii U and 3DS. As well as the two games, there will be 52 episodes of a new Sonic cartoon show that will show on Cartoon Network. There will also be a cool new set of Sonic Boom toys, with soft toys, action figures, and remote controlled cars.

As you can see in the pictures, Sonic and his friends have been redesigned to look new and cool for Sonic Boom. The game will also have more action than other Sonic games. We think it will probably be more like the Ratchet and Clank games that classic Sonic games.
