We all wanted to hear news of Skylanders 4 at New York Toy Fair, and that hasn’t happened. But that’s no need to panic, because some really amazing new Swap Force characters are coming in Wave 4. Andy from Family Gamer TV got to get hands-on with both the figures and their in-game characters and find out just how brilliant they are.
On show at the fair was Trap Shadow, Freeze Blade, and Doom Stone, who all look amazing. They will be released around Easter time, and like all Skylanders they have unique moves and abilities. Also on show was a great new design for Trigger Happy: Springtime Trigger Happy. He’s riding a giant Easter Egg bomb and painted in bright pastel colours, so will stand out among your other figures. Also out around Easter will be Light Core character Countdown Wham-Shell and new core characters Scratch Fryno and Punk Shock. Like Springtime Trigger Happy, there will also be new versions of two favourite characters: Fire Bone Hot Dog and Turbo Jet-Vac.
