It’s been a long time coming but we finally have some hands on time with Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars. Twilight of the Republic is the first of three Star Wars adventures in the game and offers a good idea of how things will feel.

In a nutshell this is looking very good. Totally feeling like Star Wars but here in toy form. The figurines themselves look fantastic with characters like Yoda, Leia, Han and Luke standing out. The Starter Pack includes the first adventure along with two figures.

The game-play and combat is enhanced this year because Ninja Theory are looking after this Twilight of the Republic playset. They bring their AAA brawling smarts from the likes of Devil May Cry but with a lot less blood — no blood in fact as this is PEGI 7.

We’re looking forward to seeing Inside Out and Rise of the Empire play-sets next.
