You may not know who Star Lord, Gamora, Drax, Groot, and Rocket Raccoon are now, but they’re about to become the biggest heroes in the universe. The Guardians of the Galaxy is the biggest film of the summer, but it’s also going to be one of the best play-sets in Disney Infinity 2.0. Family Gamer TV has had a massive hands-on look at the game and the figures, which you can see in these great videos.

First up is a whole half an hour of Guardians of the Galaxy gameplay, showing off the missions and story of the play-set. We’re introduced to our team of intergalactic heroes (or criminals, depending on what side of the law you sit), and get to see them in action for the first time.

Like all the new characters in Disney Infinity 2.0, all the Guardians will have huge skill trees to unlock when they level up. In the video above we get to see all of the team with their full skill trees unlocked, glimpsing just how cool they are when they’re at their most powerful.

Of course, you can’t have the Guardians of the Galaxy in the game unless you’ve got the toys, and in this video we get to see the figures close up. They’re some of the coolest looking figures, and are some of the most unique styled characters in the whole game. Rocket Raccoon and Groot look especially awesome.
