Wii Fit was really popular on Wii, helping you keep fit and healthy whilst also playing some really fun videogames. In November, Wii Fit is coming to Wii U. Best of all, it’s going to be free for a few months.
From November 1st 2013 to January 31st 2014, Wii Fit U will be available to download from the eShop for free. You’ll need a Wii Balance Board to play it, but if you already have one of those then this is a great opportunity.
You’ll only be able to play the free version of Wii Fit U for 31 days, though. After that it will stop working. But if you buy the new Wii Fit accessory – the Fit Meter – the game will start working again, and you can keep exercising. If you don’t buy the Fit Meter, you can pay to unlock Wii Fit U.
The Fit Meter costs around £20 and measures how many steps you make and how hard you train, even when you’re away from your Wii. So if you wear it around town or at school, it can keep track of how you’re doing. The Fit Meter can then tell Wii Fit U what you did while you were away.
The Fit Meter and full version of Wii Fit U release date is December 6th.
